Now Accepting Applications for the 2026 Bowman Auto Group Scholarship

Bowman Auto Group, representing Bowman Chevrolet, Bowman Auto Center and Bowman Commercial, will award two (2) $2,500 scholarships to Clarkston High School (CHS) students in 2026.

One scholarship is designated for an eligible CHS senior who has been accepted at a 2-year or 4-year college or university, pursuing a degree in a STEAM-related (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) field.

The second scholarship will be awarded to another CHS senior pursuing an education at a vocational institution or trade school.

Engineers, automotive technicians, designers, and skilled trade professionals are all integral contributors to the automotive landscape. Bowman Auto Group recognizes the importance of fostering talent in both STEAM fields and trade education. We believe that by investing in these students, we contribute to the future innovators and leaders who will drive positive change in the automotive industry and beyond. Applicants should demonstrate a passion for their chosen field of study, a commitment to excellence, and a vision for how their education will contribute to a better tomorrow.

Due Date:

Applications must be submitted via email to [email protected] or dropped off to Bowman Chevrolet (6750 Dixie Hwy, Clarkston) no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

Amount:

(1) $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to two CHS students selected by the Bowman Auto Group management team. This is a non-reccurring scholarship.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a CHS senior
  2. Must have a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) or higher
  3. Must provide a copy of an acceptance letter to a 2-year/4-year college or university or vocational institution for the 2026-2027 school year
  4. Must plan to pursue a STEAM-related degree or vocational school
  5. Must be involved in at least one activity or organization outside of the classroom
    • Examples: After-school club, sports team, part-time job, Boy/Girl Scouts, community volunteer, etc.

Requirements:

  1. Completed application
  2. CHS Transcript
  3. Evidence of application to a college or vocational institution, or acceptance letter

Process: Students wishing to apply for the Bowman Auto Group scholarship must complete this application in its entirety and submit it via email to [email protected] or drop it off to Bowman Chevrolet (6750 Dixie Hwy, Clarkston) no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The winner will be announced during CHS’s Senior Awards Night on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
